Summary In the book stargirl many things happen. Lots of drama starts when this really weird girl named stargirl shows up to Leos school as a new student. You can even tell how weird she is just by her name. How would you feel if your name was stargirl? First of all its not just stargirls name that makes her weird its how she dresses and acts and just everything about her. She wears long skirts with crazy sweaters and always carry's around a ukulele. If it is someone's birthday she will sing them happy birthday on her ukulele. Also stargirl carry's around her pet rat everywhere she goes which really creeps people out. So yes this girl is not normal. During school football games and basketball games stargirl always makes a big scene and cheers for whatever team if they make a good play. Leo thinks stargirl is really weird from the beginning of when he met her but his mind starts to change when she talks to him. They begin to really like each other. This makes Leo really weird because no one else in the school likes her, because she cheers for other teams at school sporting events. Read the book to find out what happens next.

Main characters Leo- A teenage boy who falls in love with a girl name Stargirl. Stargirl- A teenage girl that is new to a school and is really weird but then falls in love with Leo.

Why you should read this book. This book is by far one of my favorite books I have read in a while. It is very interesting! If you like reading about drama and action then this is the book for you. It makes you want to keep reading. This book is also really hard to predict what is going to happen next so it gets you at the edge of your seat. Read Stargirl.
