Using the Internet to Research Finding good sources and citing them

Words to Know O Source: a book, website, newspaper, or article that tells you the facts you want to know. O Citation/citing: listing the person who wrote the source you got your facts from. O Search term: the words you type to find things on the internet.

What is Plagiarism? O Definition: “to use the words or ideas of another person as if they were your own words or ideas.” – merriam-webster.com

How to Cite 1. Author names (Last name, First name) 2. Title 3. Publisher (No publisher  use n.p.) 4. When it was published (No date  n.d.) 5. Type (book, web)
