Valuing a series of cash flows We use the same approach and intuition as we applied in the previous chapter to value a series of future cash flows. Annuities An annuity is a stream of equal cash flows that occurs at regular intervals for a fixed period of time. Growing perpetuities A growing perpetuity is a cash flow that is expected to grow at a constant rate forever.
