Equality and Assessment Andy Ashley

Common Inspection Framework B- Quality of provision –B1. How effectively do teaching, training and assessment support learning and development? To make their judgements, inspectors will evaluate the extent to which: –learning, teaching, training and assessment promote equality and recognise diversity. Equality and assessment

How do you assess your learners? List 3 learning outcomes from courses that you deliver List the methods that you use to establish whether or not a learner has achieved that particular learning outcome How are the results of these assessments recorded? Equality and assessment

How do you ensure all learners have equality in assessment? In your groups identify any issues relating to the methods of assessment given to you that may mean all learners are not treated equally Equality and assessment

How can diversity be embedded in to assessment? Equality and assessment In your groups identify any methods that you feel would allow diversity to be embedded in to assessment. e.g. a painting course to include assessing learners producing a wide range of art themed from different cultures.
