Poison Ivy The plant that kills By Vincent Hernandez

Where it is found You will most likely find Poison Ivy in North America. North America is the most common place that you will find this Poisonous plant.

Where does it grow? Yes, poison ivy does grow in North America, but is mostly found as a low woody weed along feces stone walls paths and roads.

What does it look like Now Poison Ivy is pretty hard to indicate for several reasons. One of those reasons is because it looks just like other plants. So that means if your hiking and you stumble into a patch of leaves those leaves just might not be ordinary leaves they might be Poison Ivy!

Why is it dangerous? Poison ivy has many possible side affects if you are close enough to it but if you touch it you will get a rash that will most likely look like a straight line because of the way the plant brushed against the skin. Some symptoms are, redness, itching, swelling, and blisters.

Types of Poison Ivy There are a couple types of poison ivy. They are poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. They all do have different names but they aren’t much different when it comes to side affects.
