Recommending a Strategy Green Way Lawn Care Service

Vision Statement  Provide quality lawn care for people who don’t own the proper equipment or don’t have the time or the ability to care for their own lawns.

Goal and Objective  Earn money  Have fun

Today’s Situation  Too many lawns for me to mow by myself  I want to continue the business

How Did We Get Here?  Last year’s customers asked for the service again  Neighbors of last year’s customers have asked about the service  I already own two mowers and other equipment that I used last year

Option #1  I can mow all the lawns myself  Advantages  I would get all the profits  Disadvantages  I would risk injury, overextending myself  I might not do a good job, and customer satisfaction could suffer  I would have little free time  I would have to keep up with all billing and collection

Option #2  I can ask Marcus and Julia to join the business  Advantage:  Together we can complete jobs faster  We would share the profits and work.  Disadvantages:  Are there enough lawns to mow?  Who would keep accurate costumer records.

Option #3  I do not mow lawns this year  Advantages  I would have lots of free time  Disadvantages  I would have little spending money  I would need to find a summer job that might not pay as much  I would not be using the equipment I own

Recommendation  Recommend I ask Marcus and Julia to join the business  We could work together to earn money and satisfy customers  Marcus and Julia, will you join the business?
