Outcomes – Decreased Number of children in out-of-home care by 25.3%. – Increased the number of children able to receive services in own home by 35.2%. – Decreased group home population by 36.8%. – Decreased average length of stay in care by 38.5% (311 days). DCFS FY Title IV-E Waiver 3

Enhance Prevention and Aftercare – Target population is families in LA County that are high risk of child abuse or neglect – Short term outcome: Build families’ strengths in areas related to Protective Factors – Long-term outcome: Reduce the number of families that need child welfare services in LA County DCFS FFY 2014 – 2019 Title IV-E California Well-Being Project 8

Partnership for Families – Evidence-based, short-term, family centered intervention – Target population has high to very high risk factor and closed referral disposition of inclusive – Emphasis is on children five years of age or younger; and – Community referred pregnant women who have risk factor for child maltreatment – Short term outcome: Build families’ strengths in areas related to Protective Factors – Long-term outcome: Reduce subsequent involvement with DCFS DCFS FFY 2014 – 2019 Title IV-E California Well-Being Project 9
