Summary In the book, Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, we meet Sadako who is a little girl that lived in Japan. She was born in 1943.She has a best friend named Chizuko. One day Sadako was running in a race and passed out. They started folding paper cranes and folded 644 paper cranes. What will happen to her? What will Chizuko do to help her? The only way to find out is to read the book.
