What is comma?  The comma (, ) is a punctuation mark. It has the same shape as an apostrophe or single closing quotation mark in many typefaces, but it differs from them in being placed on the baseline of the text

Commas in Series(1)  Use a comma after every item in a series except the last.  E.X: The flag is white, red, and blue.  The dog ran out the door, down the step, and across the lawn.

Commas in Series (2)  Use commas after the adverb first, second, third, and so on, when these adverbs introduce a series of parallel items.  E.X : There are three ways to get good marks: first, pay attention ; second, take notes; third, study.

Commas in Series(3)  When two or more adjectives precede a noun, use a comma after each adjective except the last one.  E.X: They drove away in a bright, shiny, expensive sports car.
