Multiplying by 0’s Anything x a cheerio = a cheerio Example: 45 x 0 = 0 0 x 5 = 0 1,890 x 0 = 0

Multiplying by 1’s When you look in the mirror what do you see? I see a number looking back at me. Example 5 x 1 = x 1 = 345 The mirror is the one!

Multiplying by 2’s When multiplying by 2’s you circle the other number and double it. Example 4 x 2 = 8 8 x 2 = 16 2 x 7 = 14

Multiplying by 3’s 3, 6, 9,…12, 15, 18,…21, 24, 27,…30

Multiplying by 4’s You have to be 16 to drive a 4 by 4. 4 x 4 = 16

What two numbers come before 3 and 4 ____ _____ 3 x 4 = 12

Multiplying by 10’s When multiplying by 10’s the one sees itself and the zero is a cheerio! Example 5 x 10= the one sees a 5 and put down a cheerio = 50

Multiplying by 11’s When multiplying by 11 you are seeing doubles. Ex. 5 x 11 =55
