Chapter 8 – Custom Drawing and Sheet Template The foundation of a new SolidWorks drawing is the Drawing Template. Chapter 8 – BATTERY Drawing Create the BATTERY drawing from the BATTERY part. Utilize the Model View feature in the Drawings toolbar. The Front view is the first view inserted into the drawing. Create a Detail view: Named A with a circle 1:1 Scale A Detail circle specifies the area of an existing view to enlarge. The circle contains the same letter as the view name.
