The five stars in the middle represent the five Central American Provinces. The five countries are: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Copán Mayan city to be believed as a powerful Mayan city in the south Mayan area. There was political disaster in the year 738 that the people had to abandon the city.

Templo Rosalilia It was built for their king of Copan Kinich Yax Kuk Mo. It was discovered in 1989 by an archeologist who later named it Rosalila for its color.

Comayagua City known for its Spanish Colonial architecture. The Comayagua Cathedral has the oldest clocks in the Americas.

Comayagua During Easter week, many decorate the streets with “Alfombras” or carpets using colored sand or sawdust.

La Feria Isidra It is also known as the “friendship carnival” to share other cultures among the people in La Ceiba. It is celebrated at the end of May.

La Feria Isidra Many people look forward to this because the parade shows floats of different cultures from: Brazil, New Orleans, Japan, Jamaica, Barbados and many others.
