All the aspects of creating a speed-time graph are the same as creating a distance-time graph. The slope of a speed-time graph, however, represents the average acceleration. BLM 10.4a

You can read the velocity and the time directly from the graphs axis much like the distance and time can be read off a distance-time graph. What about distance from a speed-time graph?...

…What about distance from a speed-time graph? The area under the line of best fit of a speed-time graph is equal to the total distance traveled during a time interval. You will use basic area equations of: A = L x W and A = B x H 2 BLM 10.4b
