Introduction  Quick Overview  Controller Design  Wiring System  Arduino Programming  Milestones  Risks  Summary

Overview  Game show type system:  Ranks teams chronologically  Tracks time transpired  Actuates noise device

Player Controllers  Controller plexiglass is cut and sandblasted  Notches for usb mount and leds will be cut  Diffusion of leds is limited to 1/3rd controller length, so necessary to mount 3 LEDs on each side to complete effect.

Player Controllers Cont…  Controllers will be melted together using a nitrate adhesive  Technology for touch-sensing will utilize CMOS flipflop instead of 555 timers  Simpler  Cheaper

Wiring System  Wire wrapping  Through hole  Extremely reliable mechanical connection  Less expensive  Using for our prototype

Wiring System Cont…  Printed Circuit Board (PCB)  Design using Eagle software  More expensive (bec. You send out to company to manufacture)  We’re designing the pcb for the arduino mega microcontroller

Arduino Programming  Code is nearly finished just needs to be debugged

Upcoming Milestones MilestonesDateDescriptionStatus Completion of Controllers 2/15/2013 Fully constructing the Player and Administrator controller.Late Completion of Display 2/22/2013 Fully constructing the display which is separate from the project box.TBD Completion of Arduino Code 2/15/2013 Write and fully debug all of the Arduino code.Late Design PCB 2/22/2013 Design a PCB to fit all our inputs/outputs and the Arduino Mega micro controller. TBD

Possible Risks  MOSIS Chip doesn't work properly.  Detection to ring in might not happen for all people.
