Presentation transcript:

What am I? by Will Brovont

My species was brought to America from England by a man.

I am a insect because I have six legs and three body parts.

I’m very small…only ¾ of an inch long.

I recognize every color in nature except red.

I avoid yellow jackets because they can eat me.

I am related to the wasp and ant.

We do dances to communicate to each other.

I make buzzing sounds when I fly around.

A queen rules over me.

I’m colored yellow and black for camouflage.

I make sweet tasting honey.

What am I?

I’m a honey bee!
