Unit 2- Personal Narrative A Writing Workshop Unit 5-6 Weeks.

Unit Focuses Focus 1-Independence Writers will use strategies to write a piece independently. Focus 2- Meaning- Writers will have a clear, focused meaning to their piece. Focus 3- Structure- Writers will structure/organize their piece to enhance their meaning. Focus 4- Details- Writers will use a a variety of genre specific details to enhance their meaning.

Unit Tasks Task 1- Students will use strategies to develop an entry into a rough draft of a seed idea. Task 2- Students will use strategies to develop a SECOND entry into a rough draft of a seed idea. Task 3- Students will choose one of their rough drafts to revise, edit and publish by Dec. 10 th 2013
