One summer day, she comes to help her Mum on their farm. The wind blows gently. The flowers dance softly in the wind. She loves the gentle breeze. She doesn’t feel so hot now.

About an hour later, the sky gets darker suddenly. Then the wind blows strongly. It blows her hat off. The windmill there moves very quickly. She feels a little strange. ‘That must be the typhoon !’ she thinks.

The typhoon is strong. The wind blows strongly.

Oh! Wind! The strong typhoon. You blow so strongly on everything. The windmill moves quickly. The dandelion seeds fly away happily. The children run back home quickly. Oh! Wind! You blow so strongly on me, on me.

The windmill moves quickly. The flowers dance softly. The children fly kites happily. The man buttons up his coat quickly. The pinwheels twirl around slowly. The fisherman goes fishing happily. My hair blows softly. The dandelion seeds fly away quickly. Does the wind blow gently or strongly?

Soon the strong wind brings the big rain. Kayla and her Mum run quickly into their house. Kayla looks out of the window. But suddenly, she sees a strange wild thing moving to them in the sky. She knows that from the TV. ‘ Mum! A tornado is moving quickly to us. What can we do?’

The tornado is wild. The wind blows wildly. We should... We shouldn’t…

Mum takes her to the basement at once. She opens an old box and takes out some food, some drinks and a radio. She asks Kayla to turn on the radio quickly. They hide under a big table. ‘Mum, I’m afraid!’ Kayla says sadly.

‘Be brave, my dear!’ says Mum, ‘Let’s listen to the radio carefully! It will tell us whether the tornado has gone or not.’

After the tornado, they come out slowly and find the house all in a mess.

The wind blows wildly. It blows the house down. It blows the trees off. People cry loudly in front of their houses.

Oh! Wind! The wild tornado. You come________ and go_______. You blow so________ on everything. You blow our houses down. You leave us cry_______. Oh! Wind! You blow so _________ on everything. quickly wildly loudly wildly

Oh, wind! Kayla begins to think more about wind.

Wind is everywhere. Sometimes it is the gentle breeze. The wind blows gently. The flowers dance softly. The windmill moves slowly. We can play outside happily. … can… Sometimes _______________________________ ______________________________________________ ____________________________________________ Sometimes _______________________________ ______________________________________________ ____________________________________________.
