Ashford Speaking up Group Has started up again by people volunteering their time.

They had a big meeting to decide what they were going to focus on this year. They discussed each area that the National Forum are going to prioritise. Voice 4 Kent Big Meeting

Decided advocacy is the most important issue out of the three areas. There was a lot of talk on what advocacy means to them and people came up with different ideas and felt that a meaning should be decided. Voice 4 Kent have made advocacy the issue they are going to concentrate on this year and develop a working group on advocacy.
