3D Shapes

Objectives Correctly identify properties in each of a range of 3D shapes. Become familiar with edges, corners and faces and how they construct different types of 3D shapes. Recall rules of working out angles in a range of shapes, applying calculations in an organised way.

Question 1 I am a solid shape and I look like a die. What shape am I?

Question 2 I am a solid shape and have 2 long sides and 2 short sides. I resemble a shoebox. What shape am I?

Question 3 I am the shape of a football. What shape am I?

Question 4 I will make you think of Egypt. I am pointed at the top but I am not flat. What shape am I?

Question 5 I look like a tin of beans. I have 2 faces that are the shape of circles. What shape am I?

Question 6 You put your ice cream in me. I can also be a party hat. What shape am I?
