Air Quality Education and Outreach Improving Health through Environmental Education and Outreach? Knowledge is Power Local Peoples (Tribes) are first responders All Things are connected (Universe)‏

AITC's Air Quality Projects Cooperative Agreement with U.S. EPA to develop Clean Air Act projects Provide tools for villages to improve public and community health Increase Tribal capacity to manage air quality issues Education and outreach to reduce health risks to the People

IAQ in the Schools (cont.)‏ Based on Big Sky Model connecting negative human health outcomes with bad air toxics through air quality education in schools Students do hands on monitoring with Dust Trak (monitor) in science class Experience in environmental sciences
