 It uses an electrochemical cell. In the cell there are anodes, cathodes and electrolytes that concert chemical energy into electrical energy. How does it work?

 The aluminum, salt water, and carbon form a battery. This make electricity which powers the motor. This type of battery is called an aluminum air battery. The aluminum and oxygen combine to make aluminum oxide, the energy produced in this reaction is the electricity that powers the motor. The Robot
