Pirates have taken control of a life form that is the size of a planet. This creature has natural defense systems that the pirates have manipulated so that they can use the living planet as both a base and as a weapon. The defense systems automatically activate against large targets so a full fleet assault on the creature would be ineffectual. To combat this threat a single high powered ship will have to disable the defense systems so that the fleet is able to destroy it.
