22 The CFO Sampling Plan’s developmental phase to the execution process was efficiently accomplished in less than one year Based on one standardized sampling plan for all Services and DLA Execution Dates September 1 – September 30, 2011 The success of this effort led by Lynn Fulling (OSD) was based on several face to face meetings and telecommunications with all Services, DLA, and DoDIG agreeing on the methodology Auditors were invited to observe the inventories taking place at the individual sites Background

33 28 sites were selected randomly for CFO Inventory Sampling 3700 NIINs were selected 19 CONUS DLA sites: Anniston; Albany; Barstow; Corpus Christi; Cherry Point; San Diego; San Joaquin; Jacksonville; Norfolk; Hill; Oklahoma City; Puget Sound; Red River; Richmond; Susquehanna; Tobyhanna; Warner Robins; Barstow (ISA) and Albany (ISA) - Industrial Support Activities 9 OCONUS DLA sites: Germersheim; Pearl Harbor; Camp Carroll Korea; Kuwait; Guam; Sigonella; Japan (Okinawa, Sasebo, and Yokosuka) Plan Execution

44 17 sites completed with the overall completion status 91% 11 sites are conducting inventories as of Sep 20, 2011 –Albany (ISA); Barstow (ISA); Anniston; Cherry Point; Corpus Christi; –San Diego; Norfolk; Oklahoma City; Red River; Susquehanna; Kuwait Observers from Air Force and Navy Audit Teams –Oklahoma City, OK –Hill, UT –Susquehanna, PA CFO Activity

55 DLA Operations Resource and Research Analysis Office will collect results of inventories and distribute to each Service Each Service will validate their FY2011 CFO Inventory results DLA will validate and report DLA results to DoD Submission of FY 2012 observers requests forms must be received no later than August 17, 2012 (2 weeks prior to start of CFO Inventory) to avoid coordination pitfalls –Warner Robins observers were not able to participate (Depot AO had Emergency Leave) unable to regroup –Unable to meet Army request due to scheduling and travel conflicts Overall success Way Ahead
