MARCH 25, 2015 Homework: Finish Class work (Graph, Vocab., 3 Quiz questions and answers)- review for quiz Tuesday 3/31- on Chap. 3 Section 1 Pressure Do Now: Agenda- write H.W Take out- last nights H.W. Pressure Relationship diagrams- section questions 3A and 3B Review answers with a partner

CHAPTER 3 SECTION 1- PRESSURE 3A : Atmospheric (Air) Pressure decreases as you move away from the Earth’s surface and gain elevation or altitude 3B : Atmospheric pressure decreases with elevation because as you move higher there is less air above you. Water pressure increases with depth because the deeper you travel underwater the more water there is above you.

Why does the water spray further out of the bottom hole than the top hole?

PRESSURE VS. DEPTH Let’s Graph it! When finished begin defining/illustrating all vocab. terms from section 1- Pressure Create your own Log of Sci. terms sheet 3 Quiz Questions & Answers
