A special day Chinese new year is a very special day for all the Chinese.

Money for the children For the Chinese, the parents and the people that is married, they will give money to the children and the people that are younger than them and is not married, but it will be the people that they know. They put the money inside a red bag, that is made out of paper. It named “Hong bao”.

Chinese New Year’s Eve  There is Chinese new year’s eve, too. All the family get around together to eat.

Fireworks Fireworks is one of the things, that the people play during new year.

Orange tree And the symbol Orange tree is one of the thing that the people like to put in their house. For good luck. And they always put the red bag on it. And the symbol is “fu” when they put it on the wall, they usually turn it around. That means the good luck will goes to their house.
