The Resurrection Stories By: Angel Ly

The Gospel of Matthew The 3 women came to see the tomb. Then an angel appeared and moved the stone and sat on the stone and frighten the soldiers and said to the women do not be afraid I know that you seek Jesus. Tell the disciples and said meet him in Galilee.

The Gospel of Mark The day after the Sabbath Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and John, and Salome. When they saw the stone rolled away they started looking around to know who moved it and when they saw him the were amazed.

The Gospel of Luke They found the stone rolled away from the tomb but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were puzzling over this, behold, two men in dazzling garments appeared to them.

The Gospel of John But Mary stayed outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had been. And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken my Lord, and I don’t know where they laid him.” When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” She thought it was the gardener and said to him, “Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,” which means Teacher.
