What is a stock? Stock is ownership in a company.

What makes a stock go up and down? Supply and Demand.

Stock Symbol, or ticker symbol Each company that sells stock is listed on the stock market. They are given a symbol, like an abreviation. Google’s symbol is GOOG

Stock Market project Each team gets $100,000 to invest You will be put into teams The team that makes the most money in 10 weeks wins.
