“Let brotherly love continue.” Hebrews13:1 Continue - implies they had it Philadelphia - family love - family of God 1 John 4: “love his brother also” Christians are the best people on earth Ps. 133:1 “Behold how good and how pleasant is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Rom. 12:10 “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring on another.”

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews13:2 Duty under Law of Moses - Lev. 19:34 Christians also “given to hospitality” Rm. 12:13 “Use hospitality one to another without grudging.” I Pet.4:9 Entertained angels - Genesis Abraham and Lot

Definition of hospitable “Given to generous and cordial reception of guests, promising or suggesting generous and cordial welcome, offering a pleasant or sustaining environment: readily receptive, open.” [Web.] “Giving or liking to give a welcome, food and shelter, and friendly treatment to guests or strangers:” “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews13:2

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews13:5-6

Without Covetousness  Conversation = life  Do not set life for riches 1 Timothy 6:9-10 “But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Be content  “not slothful in business” Rm. 12:11 Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

God will never leave us  Deut. 31:6  Joshua 1:5  Matt. 6:25-30 The Lord is My Helper  Can say it with confidence  Ps. 118:6 “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”  Rom. 8:31b “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
