Findings Time Period1 st Dec -11 th Jan A&E attendances11,945 NEL Admissions3569 Dates for pressure points selected from NEL 15 th and 17 th Dec (total of 209 patients) Returns received from 29 practicesDetails for 106 patients received but had to exclude 9 from analysis due to lack of information. Information on 97 patients analysed. Main reasonsRespiratory, falls or chest pain. A few couldn't manage at home and some needed IV therapy
