It is not a palace, It is a whole town. Magnificent in scale; Magnificent in substance. -Charles Perrault The Versailles Estate includes The Palace, the Grand Trianon, the gardens, and Marie- Antoinette’s estate. It is 1,976 acres in size. (UNCC is 1000 acres.) There are approximately 200,000 trees, 2153 windows, 700 rooms, and 67 staircases at Versailles. It is 16 miles away from Paris.
