Eurostone’s new innovative, long lasting ceiling tiles Dan Passios & Neil Berry

 Comprised of inorganic volcanic stone these tiles Are warranted to remain dimentionaly stable up to 120˚ F.  EuroStone’s unique blend of perlite and an inorganic binder results in a life expectancy that far exceeds any panel offered in the industry. EuroStone is the only ceiling panel backed by an exclusive 40 year limited lifetime warranty  EuroStone may support credits toward U.S. Green Building Council Project LEED®* certification.  Because EuroStone is made of non-hazardous, non-fibrous materials and is 100% recyclable. Best of all, EuroStone is formaldehyde and asbestos-free.  Time tested to last in harsh environments such as; offshore platforms, passenger and cargo ships.  Due to these tests EuroStone’s unmatched safety characteristics secured the approval of the United States Coast Guard.

Compared to normal ceiling tiles…  Conventional Tiles  Warranted at 10 to 15 years with actual lifespan of 4 to 10 years due to environmental degradation  Prices range from $0.50 to $1.75 per ft 2  Able to be chipped, scratched, faded ultimately leading to replacement  Made from synthetic mineral fibers that are inorganic, glassy (silica based)  Spun at high temperatures from rock, clay, slag, and glass  Found to be harmful to quality of air over an extended period of time  Volcanic Tiles  Warranted at 40 years with consistent shape and color  Prices range from $0. 98 to $1. 20 per ft 2  Not susceptible to water damage, color change, or chipping and scratching  Made from perlite, a blend of inorganic volcanic stone  Aids and supports indoor air quality while offering the best defense against harmful mold and bacteria growth without coatings or biocide s.

Health Factors  Mineral fiber ceiling tiles support the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria in moist conditions. Cellulose, where present, provides food for mold, mildew, and bacteria  mineral fiber ceiling tiles were initially made with phenol formaldehyde binders, and off-gassing the poison created problems  Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) became a problem when the fine irritating particles are released into the air due to electromagnetic attraction from computers  Eurostone will not burn, emit toxic smoke, or contribute fuel in a fire, and help maintain indoor air quality in any acoustical ceiling application  Eurostone tiles are recyclable, and if not recycled, they may be ground up and used as a soil additive
