Introduction 1.Low back pain is the most common chief complaint of the patients with chronic back pain. 2.The prevalence of low back pain is specifically high in particular group of populations. 3.This pain directly affects to the patients in terms of daily life activities, sociality and medical care cost. TENS is wildly use for low back pain therapy, there is a lack of scientific data on the flexibility of muscle after using the TENS for low back pain relief. The aim of this study was to investigate immediate effect of TENS on pain and flexibility in patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain

Methods 8 chronic nonspecific low back pain patients. Pre-treatment (NRS, flexibility) Asymmetrical TENS 10 Hz for 20 min Post–treatment (NRS, flexibility)

Conclusion In conclusion, the results of this present study indicated that the immediate effect after the low frequency TENS could decrease pain and improve flexibility of back muscle in chronic nonspecific low back pain patients.
