Professional Development: EdTech Leaders Online Model  Goal: Build state capacity to use online learning  Two key online training programs Facilitating & Implementing online PD Designing & Delivering online courses  Semester-long online training course  30 online workshops: project-based; grade/subject specific  Format: online readings, resources, hands-on & multimedia activities, online discussions, final product  Learning community / cohort model  Ongoing planning and implementation support  National support forum  Graduate credit options

Major Grant Goals Develop, within each participating state and public broadcasting organization, the capacity to use e-learning with a specific focus on high need schools and districts Create a multi-state collaboration to define common standards, share resources and expertise, and support state program Develop a cadre of skilled e-Learning for Educators instructors
