American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 FDOT District 3 Current Funding Allocation Local Government Regional Percentage Leon County35.03%* City of Tallahassee35.03%* Gadsden County22.68% Wakulla County 7.26% Total100.00% * - Per the CRTPA Apportionment Plan, Leon County and the City of Tallahassee share of funding has been split 50/50.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 March 10 – Deadline for states and localities to be notified of their funding apportionments. 120 days (July 6, 2009) from notification of funding apportionments – States must have obligated 50% of their highway funds or have them redistributed. “Obligated” means attaining federal approval for each individual federal-aid project.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Actions need to attain federal approval: Plans and Specifications are done or are completed to meet deadline (design, ROW, permits and no outstanding issues with FHWA complete and in hand) Must have project(s) in Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Must have project(s) in FDOT Work Program and Budget authorized. Work Program and Budget amendments are required.
