Early College EAST The Early College of Eastern Applied Sciences and Technology

Vision The Early College of Eastern Applied Sciences and Technology will be the highest performing early college in North Carolina.

Mission The Early College of Eastern Applied Sciences and Technology, united with families, communities, local partnerships and Craven Community College, will rigorously challenge all students with relevant academic instruction that supports high school and college graduation. Our students will be globally competitive for post-graduate education, careers, and life in the 21st century.

Who are we? The Early College of Eastern Applied Sciences and Technology is an innovative educational opportunity for selected high school freshman, in the Craven County School System.

Partnering with Craven Community College and NAV Air aboard Cherry Point Marine Air Station, ECE is a unique educational experience, merging real-time project based learning and technology. Students who attend this five-year program have the opportunity to graduate with a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit toward a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree.
