Information a reader can get from a passage that helps him or her figure out the meaning of a word or group of words. What are context clues? CONTEXT CLUES

How can we figure out what a word means? Look at how a new word is used. Look at the key words or other words in the sentence. Look at the sentences before and after the new words. Read the sentence without the word and try to think what would make sense.
