Presentation transcript:

The structures: kidney, ureter, bladder, and urethra.

The Aorta is the left vein leading to the heart. The Aorta and Vena Cava are veins that carry blood from through out your body. The Kidneys removes waste and extra water from blood to form urine. Urine flows from kidneys to Bladder through the Ureters.

The Excretory system works with the Digestive system. They both work with the Nervous system.

The digestive system works with it because the food that comes in has to come out some time. Works with the Circulatory system, because the blood goes through your kidneys.

Problems with the Excretory system is a kidney stone, nephritis, and a urinary tract infection. Smoking, drugs, or any bad substance can ruin your excretory system. To take care of the excretory system stay away from drugs, smoke, and drink lots of water.

Disposes waste if waste builds, it makes you sick

 The average person pee’s 3000 times a year  Liver is rubbery to touch  Kidney stones can be the size of a golf ball  Water forms about 95% of urine  Ureter is the size of a spaghetti noodle  Kidneys are half the size of your bladder

 When bladder empties it collapses and enlarges as its “refilled”  Bladder is as big as your brain  The vein that leads to your kidney is the biggest in the body
