Where is India?

Language India’s official language is Hindi. English is used extensively in business and administration and has the status of a 'subsidiary official language. MUMBAI Mumbai formerly known as Bombay, is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the most populous city in India, and the second most populous city in the world, with a population of approximately 14 million. Mumbai lies on the west coast of India and has a deep natural harbour. Mumbai is also the richest city in India.  Mumbai was reshaped by the British and emerged as a significant trading town.

Out and about in India India is very big. People have to travel long distances to visit their families or holy places. Trains and buses are very popular because most people do not own a car. India has the second biggest railway system in the world
