HOW DO WE TAKE GOD TO WORK? By recognizing that God has gifted us to work.

JEREMIAH 1: 4-5 “The Word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’”

ROMANS 12:6FF “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought to think…just as each of us had one body with many members, and these members do not have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, AND EACH MEMBER BELONGS TO ALL THE OTHERS. WE HAVE DIFFERENT GIFTS, ACCORDING TO THE GRACE GIVE US.”

By realizing that it is the Lord Christ we are serving at work. HOW DO WE TAKE GOD TO WORK?

COLOSSIANS 3: “Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for me, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

COLOSSIANS 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

HOW DO WE TAKE GOD TO WORK? By working at those things that bring value to others.

PSALMS 14:23 “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”

HOW DO WE TAKE GOD TO WORK? By letting our light shine through the quality of our work, our attitude toward work, and our attitude toward our fellow workers/employees.

MATTHEW 5: 16 “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds [work] and praise your Father in heaven.”
