A perfect square number is a number that results from squaring the counting numbers. When you square a number you raise that number to the second power. 1 2 = 1, 2 2 = 4, 3 2 = 9, 4 2 = 16, … Perfect Squares: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100, 121, 144, 169, …
