Queen Victoria, King William IV and George Iv had a lot of influence on fashion in the romantic era

. Big, Puffy, balloon, Ruffle dresses was very popular in the Romantic Era.

Some of the most popular colors that were worn in the Romantic Era was Blue, Purple, Champagne, Red, Black, and G reen.

Certain fabrics that was used was silk, Trelis pattern, lace and Floral as well. In the Romantic Era usually all fibers were used from natural resources such as plants and etc. Others were cotton wool, and other natural sources. Some advantages of the Textile Technology was different machines made for a certain cause helped a lot with getting the work done faster

From a lot of the big balloon romantic dresses that were worn in the Romantic era started in the 1600’s. However in the 1700’s the big dresses also was a trend that migrated down in the line.
