Created for maintaining a central registry of residents who are registered sex offenders Offenders found to be non-compliant and/or failing to register status are investigated by the HPD SORU and appropriate police action is taken Additional duties are, but not limited to, newly registered, change of address, sex offender release notifications, and warrant service
