One step equations using multiplication and division

ONE STEP EQUATIONS What you do to one side of the equation must also be done to the other side to keep it balanced. An equation is like a balance scale because it shows that two quantities are equal.

One way to solve an equation is to use inverse operations. An inverse operation is an operation that “undoes” another operation. Operation Inverse Operation AdditionSubtraction Addition Multiplication Division
