Inspired by People Powered Change Using BIG’s funding and influence to: Support and unleash the talents of individuals and community groups Create the space to celebrate the individuals and communities that make a difference to the lives of people most in need Provide the opportunity to showcase collaborative activities that we believe will have a long lasting impact

Emerging Investments Older People’s co-design group Young People’s Investment Team

Our smallest grants programme Apply for between £300 and £10,000 within any one year period Voluntary and community organisations, schools, health bodies, parish and town councils Sports activities will only be funded where the main purpose of the project meets one or more the of programme outcomes Awards for All

Programme outcomes People have better chances in life – with better access to training and development to improve their life skills Stronger communities – with more active citizens working together to tackle their problems Improved rural and urban environments – which communities are better able to access and enjoy Healthier and more active people and communities

Process and scoring of applications On receiving your application, a Funding Officer will score your application ‘Points win prizes’ – scoring more points increases your chances of a successful application Certain parts of the application score higher amounts of points

Ways of scoring more points: Evidencing need Meeting at least programme outcome Getting people involved Smaller organisations with less income Improving your chances
