OpinionsPage #Comments The title deed of the slave owner is robbery and outrage. 97 Some people might have believed that a slave owner was an amazing person. Memories were equal to whites. 87 Memories were great in power. A negro had no name. 77 According to slave owners a slave did not have a name. There were few notable exceptions for slaves. 62 Slaves had strict guideline Forced labor was pleasant. 72 Most slaves thought that forced labor was very impleasant.

Nobody ever wanted to be a slave. On page 24 it states that people took their own lives, because they had believed that it would be better than being a slave. Then on page 42 it shows how families were separated and that it was rare for someone to buy the husband and the wife. Lastly on page 74 you can basically hear the whips cracking and the slaves screaming, this shows how cruel the owners were to their slaves. These are all reasons why no one wanted to be a slave.
