 1. Providing of high-quality national patent documentation in accordance with generally accepted international standards.  2. Creation of national patent databases and ensuring their accessibility for users within the country and abroad.  3. Establishment of the IP library and rendering patent information services to the general public.  4. Increasing of public awareness in the sphere of patent information, as well as teaching methods of carrying out patent information searches.  5. Participation in international cooperation related with the formation of regional and international databases. Main Goals of Patent Information Activities

 In 1993, the first Official Bulletin on paper was published (Georgian, English, Russian)  In 1999, SAKPATENTI started to produce the trilingual Official Bulletins on CD-ROMs.  In 2009, the first Official Bulletin for the Protection of New Plant Varieties and Animal Breeds was published.
