WHO?

Who had this vision? Bishop and First Lady Smith had a vision for a program to strengthen and develop NVOF ministers for global ministry.

VISION To provide academic and practical biblical training with emphasis on personal development to improve the quality of ministerial preparedness.

MISSION Equipping and Empowering Clergy for Global Ministry

GOALS Increased Spiritual Development Increased Theological Understanding & Development Increased Hermeneutics Skills Increased Homiletics Skills Increased Understanding of Church Administration Increased Number of Clergy prepared for Christian Church Ministry

Who needs to attend? All current and new clergy as well as those called to ministry who desire to serve as a part of New Vision of Faith Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Eugene Smith.

WHERE ?

Where will NVOFMI take place? The NVOF Ministry Institute will occur at New Vision of Faith Ministries in Decatur, GA. Retreat dates and times are TBA.

WHEN ?

When will classes occur? Every Sunday at 9:30am Preaching Partnership - one Saturday a month at 1:00pm The Altar Ministry & Evangelism Retreat days and locations will be announced

WHY?

Why should you attend? Increase your knowledge of the Word of God Increase your ability to articulate effectively and concisely the Word of God To gain understand and clarity of your call To obey the command to study to show thyself approved a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Why should you attend? To strengthen the body of Christ Opportunity to grow and learn with your fellow clergy Opportunity to use your gifts in ministry To improve the quality of ministry and impact the world for Christ

For Clarity Completing Ministerial Development does not guarantee licensing or ordination. Participation in Ministerial Development is a major component in being utilized in New Vision of Faith Ministries.

For Clarity Consistent Bible Study attendance is a requirement of the Ministerial Institute courses. An important component of ministerial development is consistent participation in the life of the church as well as demonstrated stewardship in area of tithing of one’s financial resources, time and talents.

GLOBAL TEAM These ministers have been equipped and willing to preach locally, regionally, nationally and internationally under the ministry of New Visions of Faith.

GLOBAL TEAM They have been equipped and willing teach biblical foundations and discipleship to believers & followers of Christ.

GLOBAL TEAM They have been equipped and willing to be utilized locally, regionally, nationally and internationally for Altar Ministry.

FOUNDATION 1 & 2 TEAM Supports Bishop & NVOF through attendance and congregational participation in worship, bible study, giving and care. May work with particular ministry to support overall vision of NVOF

GLOBAL TEAM Completed Foundations of Ministry Completed Altar Ministry Completed Evangelism Aleph Team - Bible College/Seminary Beth Team - No Bible College/Seminary

FOUNDATIONS TEAM Started Foundations of Ministry Newly called Licensed Transfer from another church (licensed/ordained) Koph Team - Bible College/Seminary Resh Team - No Bible College/Seminary

SUPPORT TEAM Newly called Transfer from another church (licensed/ordained) No formal training (no college,bible college, seminary) No NVOF MI courses
