 Flight attendants have been around since the 1930’s when Ellen Church became the first flight attendant on Boeing Transit Air. In the 1990’s the legislation required men to be hired as flight attendants.

 You have to have a high school diploma or something equivalent to that, you have to be certified by the FAA, airlines like you to know how to deal with the public, and some airlines like some type of college degree.
