1. What does he look like? 他看上去什么样子 ? look like 表示 “ 看起来像 …… ” 在这里 注意一下和 be like 的区别 : look like 指的是 “ 外观上像 ” 的意思 be like 则是指 “ 品德, 相貌 ” 等, 例如 : What is he like? 他是个什么样的人 ?

2. He ’ s really tall. tall 与 high high 和 tall 都有 “ 高 ” 的意思。 1) tall 指身材的高度，一般用于人和 动物，它的反义词是 short 。如： Li Ping is taller than Wei Fang. 李平比魏芳个子高。

2) high 一般表示物体的高度，它的反 义词是 low 。如： Can you see the high wall? 你能看见那堵高墙吗 ? The big tree is about ten metres high. 那棵大树约有十米高。 3) tall 与 high 都可用来指 tree, building ， tower ( 塔 ) 等的高度，但指 mountain 时，只能用 high.

3. Sally is thin and of medium height. thin 为形容词，可表示 “ 瘦的 ” ，其反义 词是 fat “ 胖的 ” 。也可以表示 “ 薄的 ” ， 其反义词为 thick “ 厚的 ” 。如： She looks very thin and weak. 她看上去很瘦, 而且虚弱。 There is a thin book on the desk ． 课桌上有一本很薄的书。

4. we ’ re meeting at seven, right? 我们七点见，对吗？ 1)meet 相当于汉语中的 “ 集合；见面； 碰头；聚集 ” 。如： let ’ s meet at the station. 咱们在车站见面吧。 I happened to meet him in the theatre. 我正巧在剧院遇见他。 2) right 表示 “ 对吗；是吧 ” ，用来对此前陈 述内容进行确认或核实。全句为 Is it right? 口语中常用不完整的句子表达思想。

如何描述相貌 1. 常用来描述人物相貌的词语： height: tall, short, of medium height build: thin, heavy, of medium build hair: short, long, straight, curly, blonde, black, brown …

2. 常用来描述人物相貌的句型： ① 主语 + is / are + tall / short / thin / heavy / good-looking / … (+ with …) ② 主语 + has / have + long / short + curly / straight + black / brown / blonde + hair. ③ 主语 + is / are + of medium height / build. ④ 主语 + wear(s) + 衣服 / glasses. ⑤ 主语 + has / have + a beard / beards.
