Bottle Rockets was where you got a bottle and used all kinds of materials to make a mini rocket. We had the materials of tape and cardboard to make a flying rocket. First to make them we attached a tennis ball to the closed end of the bottle and connected it with tape. Then we made the fins with cardboard. Once all rockets were completed, we moved down to the playground and sat while the first rocket was launched. The problem with my rocket was the fins. Before I stuck them down, I didn’t realize that they were different sizes. So after my launch I fixed my fins my making more and smaller ones to the back of bottle. Bottle Rockets:

Solar Boats are where you make (or have) a boat that is powered by solar panels. We used the materials of milk cartons, wooden sticks, tape, hot glue guns and solar panels. To make them, we first had to discuss with our group what kind of design we wanted to make. Then we gathered our materials and got to the building. After about 45 minutes, we left the testing wheel barrow and went to the pool. We put our boats in the pool and turned on the propeller. Many got close to going straight to the end of the pool, but at the last minute they turned in a full circle and headed back. The problem with my group’s design was the un-even weight and the possibilities of where the water can get in. Solar Boats:

There are a few more activities available that I didn’t do such as racing cars and a decision maker. Another activity was a decision maker. I’m not quite sure how they do this so I’m not adding it. RacingRacing CarsCars More Activities:

The racing cars are where you have a aluminum can and construct a car with it. You can also make other things. The racing cars materials were aluminum cans, wheels, axels, a battery pack with a switch. To make one I think you have to first cut out a bit of the top where you put the battery in. Then I think you put in holes where you slide the axels through. Attach the wheels and then I have no idea. Racing Cars:
